| Take your time. This is an average 45 - 65 lbs. decision. Our organization does not believe in coaxing someone into taking, adopting, fostering, and/or keeping a Basset. Bassets make great pets for some people, and not so great for others. Try to arrange for a stay over. Ask one of the Rescue Affiliates if you can board a Basset for several days. You'll be glad you did. |
